So this is my first attempt at light painting. Obviously, it is a long exposure shot. I used the lights that go behind my fish bowl and painted with them. Midway through the word, I forgot that you are supposed to write the opposite way, so the "D" may or may not be backwards. :)

This is my grandparents dog Zoey! I was over at their house this afternoon and she was being absolutely precious. I took a picture of her with the camera on my phone and she happened to be licking her lips!

So for these two photos, I was mainly just practicing depth of field. I figured taking photos of flowers would be rather pretty and interesting! This was a flower in a vase at my house. We just got them and they are still fresh. I like how the water drops show in the photo.
One of my favorite parts about the Phoenix area are the wildflowers that grow. I took this photo in my back yard. The sun reflects off of the petals, enhancing its color.

This is my wonderful dog Molly. I wanted to try shooting her because of her coloring. She is black with dark colored eyes, and I thought that it would be a fun challenge. I figured that natural light would be the best for this photo. I used basic photoshop skills to make the colors pop and the contrast more striking.

This is a tiger that I took a photo of at a recent trip to Sedona, AZ. I don't remember what lens I used but it had some pretty serious swag. I was about 200 feet away from the tiger and I used an effect with the lens to blur out the fence. I like the picture because the tiger looks vicious as it's licking its lips.
